6/24 – Rob’s “1st Summer Weekend” Forecast

High-pressure has spread across the southern gulf states from Texas to Florida and will generally remain over the forecast area through the weekend. Subsiding air will keep rain chances at a minimum…while a few random showers or t-storms are possible, the likelihood will stay low. The lack of activity combined with higher-pressure will allow high temperatures to rise into the mid 90s for much of the area the next several days. Heat indices will be around 105 degrees for much of the area and possibly into heat advisory category for some locations…
