6/16 – Rob’s “DANGEROUS HEAT” Thursday Forecast

As the moisture and insatiably drifts to the east through Friday, DANGEROUS HEAT will affect south Mississippi. The mercury will climb into the mid 90s…HEAT INDEX will be above 105 degrees. A HEAT ADVISORY is in effect for the area through this evening. The same is expected for Friday before a cold front moves into the region for Friday night and Saturday. A few t-storms Saturday could become SEVERE, with the main threat being strong winds, small hail and isolated tornadic activity. The main area of concern for SEVERE STORMS will be the northern gulf, but south Mississippi could also be affected.
