Showers and thunderstorms will diminish in coverage over the next few hours. Cloud coverage will remain dominant overnight with mild temperatures. Clouds will thin tomorrow morning and expect tomorrow to be much like the last couple of days.

Isolated thunderstorm potential will be a feature of your Wednesday. Overall, expect more sunshine as compared to today. Thunderstorms will bring the hazards of frequent lightning and the possibility for strong winds.

Towards the end of the week, not a whole lot is going to change for South Mississippi. Daily thunderstorm chances will be present. But, some signals of drier time can be found towards this weekend. Beyond, a very hot pattern could build in.
