6/26 – Jeff Vorick’s “Very Hot Pattern” Monday Evening Forecast
A Heat Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM this evening. Hot and humid conditions are here for the week with strong high pressure and intense sunlight. Overnight, expect clearing skies and a warm/muggy feel out the door tomorrow.
An Excessive Heat Warning will be in effect from 10 AM to 8 PM for all of our Southern 6 Counties. Outside of the very dangerous heat, thunderstorm chances will be isolated tomorrow. Into Wednesday, a batch of energy will potentially swing into our area which will elevate rain chances.
Thunderstorm chances will be scattered at best for midweek. The hot pattern will gradually ease towards this weekend. But, heat indices over 110 degrees can be expected each day through Friday.
