6/25 – Jeff’s “Strong Thunderstorms Overnight” Sunday Night Forecast
The hot and very humid pattern has arrived. A Heat Advisory will be in place between 11 AM and 7 PM tomorrow for heat index values around 110 degrees! A complex of thunderstorms will move south into our area overnight. There is the possibility of strong wind gusts with some thunderstorms but it will be on a weakening trend.
The main focus this week is the heat. Temperatures in the mid-90s will feel like the 110s at times. Be sure to take all necessary precautions if you plan on being outdoors! Rain chances will gradually lower through the morning tomorrow and clearing skies will take place. Expect hot conditions and partly cloudy skies tomorrow afternoon.
The ring of fire pattern with thunderstorm potential coming in waves and the very hot conditions will linger through the week. In the tropics, Bret dissipated over the weekend and Cindy is on its way out. The tropics will look to quiet back down for the time being, as expected in June/July.
