6/2 – Jeff’s “Hot Weekend Ahead” Friday Night Forecast

Expect a gorgeous moonlit night and mild temperatures. A hot pattern will build in for the foreseeable future with heat indices pushing 100 degrees. Saturday will bring the potential for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Drier times can be expected Sunday.

Things get more active for next week as the storm track will sag southward. Rain chances have the potential to be elevated for much of next week, particularly Monday. Tropical Storm Arlene will eventually fade as it moves through the southern Gulf of Mexico.
