6/19 – Jeff’s “Severe Thunderstorm/Flood Potential Dies Down” Monday Night Forecast

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for our area until 1 AM. Thunderstorms bring the potential of strong winds and small hail with the energized atmosphere. Thunderstorms that move over the same areas will bring the potential for flooding tonight as well. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for our area until tomorrow evening. Frequent lightning will be present in all thunderstorms the next several days.

Tomorrow brings the possibility of severe weather to South Mississippi again. Thunderstorms will again be capable of strong winds, efficient rainmakers, and small hail along with isolated spin-ups. The pattern should relax a bit as we head towards the middle of the week.
