6/14 – Rob’s Father’s Day Weekend Forecast

Temperatures will climb into the mid/upper 80s this afternoon as the lower humidity continues…

An abrupt transition to onshore flow regime and a return to sea breeze processes dictating the weather Saturday into next week. Rain chances will be more typical for this time of year, along with near normal warm marine influenced temperatures.

The Bermuda ridge pattern will become established for the extended portion of the forecast package, meaning daily sea breeze activity and humid conditions Sunday through next Thursday. A frontal zone north of the area Tuesday may enhance the rain chances on combination of gulf breeze and synoptic scale forcing. Models seem to suggest that though the front become diffuse, there may be enough influence to maintain enhanced rain chances for Wednesday, then settling back to gulf breeze pattern by later next week.
