6/1 – Jeff Vorick’s “Tropical Depression Two Forms” Thursday Evening Forecast
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will gradually come to an end across South Mississippi this evening. Mild and muggy conditions look to remain in place. Cloud coverage will gradually dissipate overnight and light northeasterly winds will build back in.
In the tropics, Tropical Depression Two has formed. It will drift to the south away from our area and poses no threat to the Gulf Coast. Expect more sunshine for your Friday with hot conditions and spotty rain chances.
Saturday brings the potential for more rainfall with scattered to numerous thunderstorms expected. Sunday will be the nicest day of the weekend before a potentially unsettled pattern builds in for next week. Summer weather is going to be in full swing.
