5/28 – Ryan’s “Rainy” Memorial Day Forecast

Showers and thunderstorms in Louisiana will continue to push into western Mississippi through the overnight hours. The frontal boundary will move through the area in the early Monday morning hours increasing rain chances for early Monday morning. As the boundary lingers in the area, Memorial Day will be muggy and wet with rain chances on and off throughout the day. There is a marginal risk for severe weather tonight and tomorrow, which includes the risk for gusty winds and some small hail.

Rain chances will be possible throughout the rest week as there will be plenty of moisture and daytime heating. As we head towards the end of week rain chances decrease slightly, but a few showers can’t be ruled out each day.
