5/30 – Jeff Vorick’s “Very Isolated Rain” Tuesday Evening Forecast

Humidity is on its way back into the equation as the pattern changes. Very isolated rain chances are in place this evening until after sunset. Mild temperatures will be around overnight with partly cloudy skies expected.

A disturbance in the northern Gulf of Mexico will be in our region for the middle-to-end of the week. It will help enhance rain chances for Wednesday and Thursday. For tomorrow, expect a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Rain chances will peak Thursday at around 50% or so. There is the potential for more widespread rain if a low pressure develops nearby. For what it’s worth, the National Hurricane Center has a low-end chance of the feature developing into a tropical system.
