5/22 – Jeff’s “Isolated Thunderstorms Tomorrow” Monday Night Forecast

Mild temperatures and some clouds will be around for tomorrow morning. An area of low pressure to our east will be bringing a disturbance into our area for tomorrow. It will help bring isolated thunderstorm chances for your Tuesday afternoon. The disturbance will then clear the area and help to provide for clearing skies for Wednesday. Northeasterly flow will usher in a somewhat cooler and drier airmass for the middle of the week.

Relatively cool starts in the 60s will then yield to mid-80s in the afternoon. A system will have the potential to swing into South Mississippi for the end of this week into the weekend. Expect dry time on Thursday to evolve to rain chances by Friday and Saturday. The best ingredients for widespread rain will be well to our east but there could be unsettled times.
