5/12 – Jeff’s “Mother’s Day Weekend” Friday Night Forecast

Warm and humid conditions will continue into this weekend. Light fog could set up in spots towards daybreak but it will quickly dissipate. Very warm temperatures are on tap tomorrow with heat index values approaching the low-90s. Partly cloudy skies can be expected but rain chances will not. More widespread fog development could occur for Sunday morning.

For Mother’s Day, expect early patches of fog to dissipate. Temperatures will be very warm again while rain chances will be isolated. A sea breeze could set up and lead to 20-30% chances of afternoon thunderstorms. Into next week, a cold front will be approaching our area. It will stall out in the region. Expect elevated rain chances from Monday through much of the week.
