4/8 – Rob’s “Friday Afternoon” Forecast

As high-pressure moves closer to the area, a northerly wind will continue to usher DRIER air into the Gulf south. A tightening gradient will cause winds to become breezy this afternoon, calming shortly after sunset. The coldest air with this system will come overnight with the mercury dipping into the “CHILLY” realm. Under clear skies, daytime temps will rebound into the low 70s for the weekend with increasing humidity, warmer temps and building cloud coverage on Sunday. The next shot of rain will come early next week.
