4/21 – Rob’s “Wednesday Afternoon” Forecast

After a cloudy, humid and foggy start, the atmosphere has dried out nicely. Expect partly cloudy skies with the possibility of a stray showers this afternoon. High-pressure east will begin to break down and move off the eastern seaboard, a stationary front which has plagued the southern plains with HEAVY RAINS will begin to move east. Mostly cloudy/cloudy skies will be in the area along with HUMID CONDITIONS through Thursday. As the boundary moves east, showers & thunderstorms will move across the Gulf south Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon. A NW flow aloft will begin to bring DRIER AIR into the area late Friday which will lead to a BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND with sunny skies and WARM TEMPS in the 80s.
