4/15 – Rob’s “MUCH DRIER” Weekend Forecast

The pesky stationary front in the northern Gulf which has brought the MONSOON the past few days is finally beginning to move east. As it does so, isolated showers & thunderstorms will be in the area this afternoon; a 20-30%. Clouds will continue to dominate the area even as the front moves east tonight and begins to dissipate. Low-level moisture will continue through much of Saturday putting us under CLOUDY/MOSTLY CLOUDY skies through late in the day. High-pressure will move in from the NW on Sunday providing for SUNNY SKIES & WINDY CONDITIONS to close out the weekend…and start off next week. The next system to affect the area will move in Tuesday.
