4/13 – Rob’s “WEDNESDAY MONSOON” Forecast
As a stationary front to the south interacts with an area of low-pressure in the NW’tern Gulf, HEAVY RAIN has been in the area since sunrise. The area has accumulated an average of .75″ since this morning with more rain to come this afternoon; a FLASH FLOOD watch is in effect through Thursday evening. As the low-pressures moves just to the south of our area, rain will begin to tapper-off late afternoon with only a slight chance for a few showers overnight. Another round of rain will move through the area Thursday with rain potential increased through Friday evening. The gulf South will dry out from the rain Friday night with partly cloudy skies for the weekend along with BREEZY conditions for Sunday.
