4/13 – Rob’s “HEAVY RAIN” Wednesday Forecast

A stationary front to the south has spawned a low-pressure system in the NW Gulf, pushing HEAVY RAIN into the area; a FLASH FLOOD WATCH in effect through Thursday. This area of low-pressure and HEAVY RAIN will move quickly to the East then begin to stall over the northern Gulf tonight. The heaviest of activity will come mid-morning through this afternoon before tapering-off. Another round of potential heavy rain will move through the area Thursday before the system clears to the east late Friday/Saturday. Drier conditions will move into the region Saturday, but low-level clouds will continue along with BREEZY CONDITIONS to close-out the weekend.
