4/9 – Payton’s Monday Morning Forecast
The local area remains under broad upper level troughing that is encompassing over 2/3’s of the country. Low level moisture overrunning a shallow cold layer is and likely will continue to produce patchy drizzle over most of the area through the morning
hours. Satellite shows stubborn cloud cover across the area, and don’t expect this state of overcast will change much today. There is a chance for one or two light showers today, and tonight. Going into Tuesday things will begin to clear out, and Highs will reach the mid 70s, and approach the 80s on Friday. The next system to bring potential impacts to the area looks to be rolling through on Saturday. This could bring another round of
severe weather.
