4/13 – Rob Knight’s Monday Morning “Storm Recap/Workweek Forecast”

A prefrontal trough with all inclement weather has moved east and the cold front is now moving through the region. The front should make its way well into the outer coastal waters before slowing and finally stalling. A few reinforcing surges of cool dry air will move down as a few disturbances ripple along north of the area. The first of these could buckle the front back to the north just enough to give some rainfall along coastal sections late Tuesday through Tuesday night. The stalled front may begin to move northward Thursday night as another cold front moves into the picture by the end of the week. This could spell rainfall over the weekend with Sunday possibly being the main day as it stands at the moment…
