4/11 – Jeff’s “Coastal Low Impacts” Tuesday Night Forecast
Spotty rain chances will be in the picture overnight. Winds will become elevated towards daybreak as an area of low pressure takes hold on our region. Coastal flooding will be an issue around high tide tomorrow afternoon. In addition to that, a gale warning is in effect for the outer coastals beginning tomorrow morning, carrying through Thursday morning.
Rainfall coverage will increase tomorrow afternoon. The best chances for rain will be overnight Wednesday into Thursday. There is the potential for gusty winds and very isolated tornadic activity with the bands of rain. Coverage of rainfall will diminish through the day Thursday.
The low pressure will pull out of the area late Thursday into Friday. Brief dry and clearer times will be present Friday with warmer temperatures. A cold front will push through South Mississippi this weekend. Rain chances are elevated Saturday and Sunday.
