3/7 – Rob’s Monday Morning Forecast

High-pressure dominance since Friday will finally begin to break down and move east. As a developing system over the central Rockies begins to move SE, a strong southerly flow will increase winds and humidity. Several systems will affect the gulf coast through Saturday before clearing. As these boundaries move east, the gulf coast could find a few STRONG /SEVERE storms in the area Tuesday night, with the potential for HEAVY RAINS through Friday night. Models indicate 4-6 inches of rainfall with isolated pockets of higher accumulations.
