3/10 – Rob’s “WINDY/RAINY” Forecast

VERY strong high-pressure off the eastern seaboard has been quite proficient at holding its location…which has kept the rain at bay to our west. The high-pressure is beginning to break down and starting to move slowly to the east which is allowing for a stationary front to move into western Mississippi. STRONG WINDS will continue through Saturday with a WIND ADVISORY in effect through this evening. Thunderstorms and rain will begin to move in later this afternoon with RAINY  conditions expected overnight. Periods of t-storms/rain will continue through Saturday as the high-pressure over the western Atlantic will move east, allowing for the Gulf south to begin calming down and clearing out.
