3/4 – Rob’s Monday/Workweek “COLDER” Forecast

Cold temperatures will be the story over the next few days as high pressure builds into the region. Expect the day to start off with some clouds and the clouds will break up and expect a nice but chilly afternoon and evening for outdoor activities. Highs today will struggle to get to the lower 50s today. Overnight lows will dip into the upper 20s to lower 30s in southwest Mississippi. South of the lake expect low in the mid-30s. Expect more of the same for Fat Tuesday across the area. Sunny conditions and highs near 50 can be expected on Fat Tuesday.

A Freeze Warning is in effect for STONE & GEORGE counties tonight. High pressure should shift by mid-week and this will allow for temperature moderation and winds to shift to the south. Temperatures will rebound into the 70s by the end of the week. The next best chance of organized rain looks to come by this weekend.
