3/28 – Payton’s Wednesday Afternoon Forecast
We’ll have another primarily dry day, but a few isolated showers are possible. Going into Thursday rain chances along with the chance for one or two severe storms goes up. Thursday morning will mainly be dry, but by the afternoon chances for thunderstorms go up. There is a SLIGHT RISK for severe weather tomorrow late morning and early afternoon. This is a level 2 out of 5 risk. The main threat will be for gusty winds and an isolated tornado. There will also be a risk for flash flooding as storms could stick around the area for much of the afternoon. By tomorrow night things begin to calm as the cold front moves into the Gulf. Going into Friday morning there could be a lingering shower, but for the most part the day will be partly cloudy with a north wind. Nice conditions continue into Easter weekend with sunshine. Rain chances return next week.
