3/21 – Jeff Vorick’s “Rain Arriving” Thursday Evening Forecast
Gloomy conditions early on this evening will give way to light rain moving into the area. Do not expect thunderstorms tonight but expect nuisance rain at times. Temperatures will not bottom out like previous nights as a more mild and humid stretch greets us. Rain will taper off late tonight leading to dry time ahead of a more busy Friday. More rain moves into the area Friday morning as a complex of showers and thunderstorms will work along the Gulf Coast. The atmosphere will be lacking in energy but the progressive nature of the system will keep it going.
Thunderstorms will begin at or shortly after daybreak and heavy rain will be around for later commutes. Rain chances gradually taper off through the afternoon and evening. A cold front takes some edge off the humidity and the weekend will be wonderful. Cool starts and mild/warm afternoons in the 70s under plenty of sunshine. Next week brings another shot of thunderstorm chances with a system moving into the area Monday and Tuesday.
