3/12 – Rob Knight’s “Warm/Humid” FriYay Morning Forecast
Another warm and humid day ahead as high-pressure to the east will continue to block the pattern. Upper level clouds will vary between partly/mostly cloudy skies. Moisture increasing tonight will allow for a chance of patchy fog again tonight into Saturday morning. This will only affect the area for a few hours but should clear out by daybreak tomorrow. Beyond this, conditions continue to be warm and dry ahead of the expected front on Sunday night.
A low pressure system moving east through the Rockies Sunday evening will likely bring an associated cold front through the western parts of the area Sunday night. This will allow showers and thunderstorms back into the area late Sunday night through Monday. Stronger thunderstorms are expected to remain north of our area. The cold front will then stall over the area Monday before finally moving out of the area. Another cold front over the area Thursday will help continue the pattern of instability and bring increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms.
