2/14 – Rob’s Valentine’s Day “SEVERE THREAT” Forecast

An area of low-pressure in central Texas continues to develop and move eastward. This system will begin to affect the area after sunset through tomorrow morning with the STRONGEST of storms in the area through midnight. The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has the area in a SLIGHT RISK tonight, for all forms of severe weather. The potential for severity will be much stronger to our west…but begin to wain as the system moves into a more stable environment…coupled with nighttime cooling/stability. The rain will move east by sunrise with the clouds lingering through much of Wednesday before late clearing. The area will be affected by a brief cool down through Friday before the warming trend begins again.
