High temperatures are expected to top out in the mid to upper 90s once again across the Gulf Coast. Another Heat Advisory is in effect for all of South Mississippi until 8 p.m. Tuesday as heat index values are expected to rise to between 108 and 112 degrees for an extended period of time.
By the middle of the afternoon, some showers and thunderstorms will begin working their way across the region. These showers will be scattered in coverage but will help cool things down for the areas that experience them.
Tonight, temperatures remain warm with lows only in the mid to upper 70s as humid conditions continue.
On Wednesday, rain chances elevate to around 60 percent as storm coverage becomes a little more widespread. Increased cloud cover will keep high temperatures slightly cooler in the lower 90s.
