Lighter crowds on the Coast for 2026 Spring Break

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- Spring Break has wrapped up along the Coast with lighter crowds in Biloxi, but a strong safety presence remained in place throughout the weekend.

Local businesses along the beach saw fewer visitors than in years past, marking a noticeable shift during what’s typically one of the Coast’s busiest times of the year.

Even so, local law enforcement ramped up patrols and traffic control efforts, preparing for large crowds to help keep conditions running smoothly.

Warm temperatures and breezy conditions made for ideal weather, but the lower turnout still had a direct impact on area businesses.
