A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until 8 p.m. Monday for Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, and Pearl River Counties. Localized amounts of 4 to 6 inches of rain will be possible as heavy showers and thunderstorms continue to roll across the Gulf Coast.
Expect the rain activity to being winding down close to sunset. While a few showers and a thunderstorm or two will be possible, the rain coverage will be much less. Overnight, skies will stay mostly cloudy and conditions will be very humid. Low will drop to the mid 70s along the coast.
Tuesday, rain chances are high once again, but the coverage should be a little more sporadic. Rain chances are at 70 percent.
