Rain will end from west to east this morning with the exception of the sound and northern Gulf that may have several showers move across through the day. The fog will also come to an end this morning. But the one thing we won’t get rid of is the cloud cover.
With rather strong Cold Air Advection and cloud cover, it will feel rather cool. Clearing skies should begin to take place tonight or at least the second half of the night and Friday should see clear skies with plenty of sun but still cool. We will begin to moderate Saturday and will continue that trend into next week.
A disturbance will move through Saturday night into Sunday bringing another shot of rain. Models are having a tough time agreeing on how strong this disturbance will be, but it should only be in for Sunday.
Some rainfall may also be introduced Monday with moisture loading ahead of the next front that is expected to move through Tuesday night into Wednesday. There is some indication that a good bit of overrunning could occur with this front. This could come in the form of light to moderate rainfall with some breaks through early next Saturday when a secondary cold front should clean these conditions out.
Regardless of area wide rainfall with the overrunning, skies should remain cloudy from Wednesday into early Saturday with few breaks in sky cover.
