Car accident on Interstate 10 causing traffic delays near DeLisle

DELISLE, Miss. (WXXV) — An early morning car accident snarled westbound traffic on I-10 in Harrison County.

According to the Mississippi Department of Transportation, the accident occurred near the exit for DeLisle/Pass Christian.

Initially, all westbound lanes were blocked. MDOT said in an update at 6:27 a.m. that the left westbound lane has reopened on I-10 near Exit 20. The right lane remains blocked. Multiple injuries have been reported.
