St. Patrick sends signs three athletes to the next level in three different sports!

It was an amazing morning at St. Patrick Catholic high school as a Fighting Irish trio heads to the next level!

First up, St. Patrick girls’ golfer Sofie Humer is officially continuing her career on the links! The state champion is taking her talents to Christian Brothers University. Next up is the stone wall of the Fighting Irish soccer program, Samantha Johnson! The goalie will be a great addition to the Pearl River Community College soccer team. Last but not least, Keller Broussard made history at St. Patrick, becoming their first ever male cheerleader, and he made history again by being the first ever male cheerleader to sign a cheer scholarship! Broussard will make a big impact on the Houston Christian university cheer squad.

All three athletes tell WXXV what this means to them and why they chose their future colleges. You can hear from them in the video above. Congratulations Keller, Sam and Sofie and we look forward to cheering you all on at the next level!
