Kids Safety Fair

Kids and parents in Biloxi had fun while learning about safety on Saturday.

WJZD 94.5 and Mississippi Power teamed up for the sixth annual ‘Kids Safety Fair’ at the Kroc Center. Local health organizations along with the Biloxi police and fire departments were on hand to provide important information to families on how to keep kids healthy and safe.

There were also plenty of games, a football skills competition, and Zumba dancing for everyone to enjoy. Michael Daniels with JZ 94.5 says putting safety in mind at an early age is helpful for children.  “It’s all about self-health and just starting at a younger age and growing from there so they can use those same things that they’re learning now as adults for their kids in the future.”

Some of the topics discussed at the fair include health safety, car and seat belt safety, as well as fire safety.
