A Harrison County resident is receiving treatment for minor injuries after a fire broke out at a home in west Harrison County this morning.
Harrison County Fire Chief Pat Sullivan tells News 25 Today, this morning around 4 am, Harrison County Fire Rescue workers responded to the report of a manufactured home on fire on Firetower Road. Units arrived and found a single-wide mobile home fully involved in fire.
Chief Sullivan says the resident inside the home was able to escape the mobile home, but was taken to a local hospital with breathing difficulties from smoke inhalation and minor burns.
Pass Christian Fire and CRTC Fire crews, along with West Harrison Fire volunteers, helped battle and put out the fire. No official word yet on what caused the fire.
