Starting the week hot and dry. Monday and Tuesday will see highs in the mid to upper 90s! By Wednesday we will see tropical moisture moving in and a few showers and t-storms are possible. We are watching a tropical disturbance known as Invest 91-L in the Bay of Campeche. This system is still struggling, but with it being over water as it moves toward the Brownsville, Texas area it could develop into a depression and become better organized. by Wednesday the disturbance will interact interact with a trough moving in from the west and that should keep it from organizing too much. We will likely feel the effects from moisture and rainfall Thursday into Friday. The heaviest rain appears it will fall to the north and west with South Mississippi averaging 1-2 inches. Going into the weekend rain chances remain possible with temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
