The biggest impact from last night’s cold front will be the substantial drop in temperatures. Highs and lows will drop about 30 degrees from what they have been over the last couple of days. Most areas will be in the 50s today with 30s overnight with windy conditions today tapering-off tonight.
Temperatures will begin rebounding Sunday as upper level ridge builds in. Expect about a 15 degree jump in highs. At the same time, surface ridge sliding east will allow for Gulf moisture to return as onshore flow develops and strengthens.
Early next week looks to be just like this week with a few days of high dew-points and increasing rain chances before a cold front swings through Tuesday. That also means could see an extended period of dense fog impacts along coastal areas.
