The colder air has arrive along with drier air…tonight will be cold with freezing temperatures and upper 20s as you head inland. By tomorrow morning we will start with sunshine and temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 50s tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow the winds will shift out of the southeast and moisture will return. This means clouds and showers will return Tuesday, especially Tuesday night into Wednesday. Wednesday will bring showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon as a cold front approaches the areas. By Thursday we dry out once again and it gets colder through the weekend. There is a slight chance of rain for the weekend right now, but models aren’t in agreement with the progression of systems, so for now it’s something we’ll watch over the next several days.
