Babypalooza, a maternity and wellness expo, brought out many expecting parents and parents of young children to the Coast Coliseum this weekend.
There were around 800 to 1000 people in attendance. Blue Cross, Blue Shield held informational seminars for all attendees ranging from car seat safety to packing for the hospital as well as baby CPR demonstrations.
This expo gave parents a chance to ask questions and learn everything they need to know about their little ones.
Babypalooza was not just educational though. There was also plenty of giveaways, games, and demonstrations. Babypalooza Director Tori Bishop said, “Having a baby is a major life event and so there are a lot of question marks there. You don’t know, there’s a whole book ‘What to expect when you’re expecting’ and so being able to come to this one room and talk to people first hand and get that expert advice, I mean, it’s priceless.”
