2/4 – Payton’s Sunday Night Forecast
Expect most of the clouds in the cold air to dissipate shortly
after sunset over land, with some cloud cover remaining over the
coastal waters’ tonight. As boundary begins to trek northward later on Monday, cloud cover will begin to increase, first at upper levels. Could be a few sprinkles as early as late Monday night. Do expect showers and possibly a few rumbles of thunder as warm front moves north Tuesday and Tuesday night. Cold frontal passage Wednesday afternoon will end threat of thunder. The atmosphere won’t be particularly favorable for severe weather.
