2/23 – Jeff’s “Mild & Pleasant” Weekend Forecast

Friday featured a warm one for the Mississippi Coast as Gulfport Biloxi International Airport recorded a record high temperature. Winds back off this evening and any remaining clouds will clear out. Temperatures will be much cooler tonight as compared to the mild mornings we’ve had. Saturday features lots of sunshine and afternoon high temperatures in the 70s.

Breezy conditions are in play for Saturday and at times Sunday afternoon as well. Sunday morning will be another cool start prior to a wind shift. Sunday afternoon features temperatures a few degrees cooler for the afternoon but conditions will still be nice. Winds turn southerly Sunday through much of next week bringing a warm-up.

Warmer conditions including mild mornings and temperatures well into the 70s for several afternoons return next week. Sea fog may become a concern for the first half of next week while a storm system ushering in an unsettled pattern arrives midweek. Rain/thunderstorm chances become a factor Wednesday and it is looking like the cold front will go stationary which could bring more rain chances for the end of next week.
