2/17 – Jeff Vorick’s “Colder End To Week” Friday Afternoon Forecast
The cold front has made it through our area bringing with it clearing skies, gusty winds out of the north, and colder temperatures. Clouds will continue to thin this afternoon while temperatures will struggle to climb far into the 50s.
Clear skies and cold temperatures will be in the 30s overnight. Winds will make it feel like the 20s overnight. Breezy conditions will be around tomorrow. But, it will be beautiful outside of chilly temperatures for Mardi Gras parades. A moderating trend will begin Sunday as a southerly flow returns.
Warm and humid conditions will be around next week. A few systems will bear watching. However, it looks like they will track to our north and provide little more than low-end rain chances next week.
