2/16 – Jeff Vorick’s “Light Rain” Friday Evening Forecast
A shield of mist and light rain continues to plague our area as a pair of storm systems interact. Light rain will be around into some parts of the evening and overnight hours ahead of a cold front. Some dry time eventually will be around later tonight as we await the arrival of a cold front. Another round of 40% rain chances will be around tomorrow morning potentially sticking around into the early afternoon hours. Windy conditions will be possible at times tomorrow.
Clearing takes place through early Sunday and the end of the weekend will be colder. A freeze is likely for Monday morning with favorable conditions for radiational cooling. A warm-up takes place and 70s will be achieved for several afternoons by the end of next week.
