Service Set for Long-Time District Attorney Cono Caranna, II
Funeral arrangements have been made for long-time district attorney, Cono Caranna, II. Caranna served as District Attorney for Hancock, Stone and Harrison counties for 26 years, retiring in 2012.
He passed away last Thursday after suffering from recent health issues. In a recently released statement, District Attorney Joel Smith expressed condolences for Caranna’s family, including his wife Harrison County Chancery Judge Margaret Alfonso, saying Caranna’s legacy will live on.
Cono Carrana, II was 77 years old.
His visitation is set to take place this Thursday, January 16th from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Nativity Cathedral in Biloxi, with Mass starting at 11 a.m., and followed by a full military honors in front of the Cathedral.
