12/9 – Rob Knight’s “FRIGID” Weekend Forecast

The upper-level clouds linger along the southern 6 and the sound overnight…this kept some warmth in the low-levels and temps stayed up a few degrees. Sunny skies and breezy conditions will make temps around 50 degrees FEEL LIKE the mid 40s. The WIND CHILL will play a factor tonight as well with winds around 10 mph and temps averaging 32 degrees (Feels-Like 27 degrees) along the coast…mid/upper 20s inland. The winds will calm overnight into Saturday with sunny skies and high-pressure dominating. The high-pressure will move to the east Saturday afternoon and a return flow along with warming temps will move back into the region. An approaching cold front will increase cloud coverage Sunday with rain back in the forecast Monday through much of the workweek.
