12/01 Ryan’s “Still Foggy” Friday Afternoon Forecast

A cold front did move through overnight and brought some slightly cooler temperatures, but it’s still foggy tonight in South Mississippi. Dense fog advisories have already been issued for Stone and George counties, and while patchy fog should be all that forms elsewhere, it isn’t out of the question more could be added. Tomorrow afternoon’s temperature continues the slight cooling trend, dropping to 70 on the waterfront with warmer temperatures inland. Skies will remain mostly sunny through at least Sunday, but we’ll begin seeing cloud cover and rain chances increasing rapidly as we begin the work week and another front moves in. This one will pass through by Tuesday, and is expected to have a more Arctic airmass behind it, so stronger storms and much cooler temperatures are expected when it arrives. Overall the week will be on the warmer side, but as we move into the weekend we’ll see our afternoon high’s falling into the 50s and our nights into the mid 30s.
