12/8 – Rob Knight’s Tuesday Mid-Morning Forecast

Cool and dry through Wednesday when things will begin to transition as the overall pattern modifies with high-pressure over the central CONUS sliding east and begins to flatten. At the surface, this will cause a weakening wind regime and eventually shift around to an onshore flow bringing moisture levels back up ahead of the next system.

Friday scenario is pretty straight forward, with high off to the east, moisture returns ahead of the next system with above normal temperatures. Beyond that, plenty of spread in forecast scenarios through the weekend. The approaching system will bring clouds and rainfall to the area Saturday into Sunday before departing off to the NE. Currently there are several scenarios, so that leaves us with a low confidence forecast beyond Saturday.
