12/27 – Jeff’s “Clouds Remain” Wednesday Afternoon Forecast

Cloud cover is present this afternoon with mid-level and upper-level clouds overhead. Temperatures will be near-average this afternoon with low-60s. Winds will remain southwesterly for a few hours ahead of a cold front that will move through South Mississippi. It will not be carrying moisture with it and will clear the area tonight.

The front will bring clearing skies tonight and provide for temperatures being another notch colder tomorrow morning. It will be 37 degrees on average to start your Thursday. Sunny skies will be present the next several days into this weekend but below-average temperatures in the 50s will be all the high temperatures can muster up.

Friday and Saturday morning bring freeze potential to nearly our entire area. Be mindful of the 4 P’s inland of the interstate since hard freeze conditions are possible. Rain chances do not arrive until early next week.
