12/22 – Jeff’s “Nice Saturday/Rain Christmas Eve” Christmas Weekend Forecast
Saturday will start with mild temperatures and sunshine will be present through much of the day. Expect partly cloudy skies and breezy conditions at times but temperatures will be quite pleasant with 70s in the afternoon. A nice start to the long weekend will give way to adverse conditions come Christmas Eve. A dynamic storm system will bring rounds of rain and isolated rumbles of thunder for the area Sunday.
There will be the possibility for a round of rain in the morning, but the best confidence for heavy rain will be in a window of time from Sunday afternoon through early Christmas morning. Be sure to be aware of possible flooding if you are driving to loved ones. An end to rain and a cold front come through on Christmas Day. Colder temperatures arrive for next week.
